Please note: public holidays are subject to change: https://psc.gov.vu/index.php/en/public-holidays.

Due to the ongoing uncertainty around border closures and the possibility of future closures of schools, PVIS may revise term dates as required.

Please note that Term 1 dates were revised and published again on Monday 18th January. An email was sent to all parents to explain the rationale for the change. These dates reflect the NEW dates. Changes are underlined

Planned School Term Dates for 2022

Our dates are based on those of the majority of independent schools in South Australia (where the SACE is based), and consistent with the number of school days in Australian independent and international schools.

PLEASE NOTE: The school is likely to vary the term dates (eg. Commence Term 1 later) in response to the current complex global situation, such as mandated school closures; availability of flights for incoming new teachers or the change of border status to facilitate travel for school families and our staff. If there was to be a revision for the commencement of Term 1 2022, that would be announced in early/mid-December 2021, noting that there are certain circumstances outside of our control.

Any such adjustment would be considered carefully and the input of the School Board would be sought if a change was considered necessary.
